It’s a Great Time to Buy or Sell Your Home in Connecticut – Here’s What to Expect From the Process During COVID-19
Realtors never did shut down completely. We are open, we are working, and we are listing and selling homes!
Berarducci Realtors is following all CDC guidelines to keep both us and you, our clients, safe!
Buyers can be met at the office, by appointment only. Masks must be worn. We clean and sanitize the office on a daily basis, and before and after meetings with clients. Buyers can also physically look at homes. Your Realtor will follow the recommendations by wiping down the lockbox and door handle before using them, wearing gloves and a mask, and asking the seller (if occupied) to turn on all lights and wipe surfaces down prior to the showing.
Once a buyer contracts for a property, everyone who is involved in the process also follows strict safety guidelines. All concerned will need to wear masks, practice social distancing, minimize people in the house, and use proper sanitizing. Closings are done separately with the sellers and buyers to minimize contact.
We are able to take a buyer through the entire process, just a bit differently! So, if you would like to buy a property, don’t hesitate! Rates are very low, and it’s a great time to buy!
Sellers: We NEED you! This is an excellent time to sell, as inventory is low! Buyers are out looking! Don’t miss out on the spring market! All precautions for safety are being followed. All we ask from sellers out of the ordinary is to wipe down surfaces after a showing. Turning on lights prior to the showing is very helpful, along with opening closet doors. This will minimize touching surfaces.
